King Abdulaziz International Airport (JED) is an international airport located in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, known for its proximity to the holy city of Mecca. This airport, which is intensively used due to Hajj and Umrah visits, has various services to facilitate passengers’ travels.
Terminal Structure and General Information
King Abdulaziz International Airport has four terminals.
Terminal 1: This is the newest and largest terminal. Terminal 1 hosts both domestic and international flights.
North Terminal (North Terminal): This terminal is mostly used for international flights.
South Terminal: Mainly used for domestic flights of Saudi Arabian Airlines (Saudia).
Hajj Terminal (Hajj Terminal): A terminal specially designed for Hajj and Umrah visitors.
Parking Lot:
King Abdulaziz International Airport has a large parking lot where passengers can safely park their vehicles. You can park your car in short-term or long-term parking lots. The parking lots are within walking distance to the terminals. There is also a shuttle service from the parking lots to the terminals at regular intervals. There is a large parking lot adjacent to Terminal 1. North Terminal and South Terminal also have their own parking lots.
